Advanced CIFE in Islamic Accounting™ (ACIFE™)

Ethica offers two certificates: CIFE™ (Certified Islamic Finance Executive™) and Advanced CIFE in Islamic Accounting™ (ACIFE™). The CIFE™ trains you in the core Islamic banking products including Musharakah, Murabaha, Mudarabah, Ijarah, Salam, Istisna, Sukuk, Liquidity and Risk Management, while the ACIFE™ focuses purely on accounting treatment of these products in detail.

The ACIFE™ is Ethica's 4-month advanced certification program in Islamic accounting. To be eligible for the Advanced CIFE™ you must first complete the CIFE™ certification. You are expected to conduct self-study of the 'Islamic Accounting Standards' track (9 modules) and subsequently appear for the ACIFE™ examination online:

4. Understanding Islamic Accounting IV
5. Understanding Islamic Accounting V
6. Understanding Islamic Accounting VI
7. Understanding Islamic Accounting VII

9. Understanding Islamic Accounting IX

The program fee is $995, which can be paid online via Visa or Mastercard or through wire transfer and includes:

These webinar recordings will help consolidate concepts covered in the 9 modules and add a new dimension to your learning experience. Our expert trainer not only covers tough-questions but also discusses case studies, walks through exercises, screen shares balance sheets and other ancillary material for that extra edge.

The Advanced CIFE™ Examination: A 2.5 hour (150 minutes) timed exam comprised on 120 multiple choices questions. The pass mark is 60%.

Re-attempt: If you fail you can re-attempt the exam by paying a fee of $195 per attempt.
